Alsan Valcke is a wholesaler in bathroom, wellness, heating and ventilation, kitchens, bathing, cooking and energy. They are located in Eeklo and have a 2000m² showroom.
Wholesale and Distribution
As a wholesaler, Alsan Valcke has to process hundreds of orders, invoices, delivery notes and other documents every day. Managing all this paperwork took up more and more time every day, so people started looking for an alternative. It was important that the solution could easily integrate with their ERP solution. For Valcke, the solution was very simple and implemented in just 2 days. All documents are automatically recognized and archived. Searching is always by contract or customer number and the results of each search appear immediately on the screen. A must if you want to help customers quickly. Their people no longer have to search cabinets or folders on the server.

In collaboration with Smartdoc, it was decided to apply a step by step approach. The first processes that were digitized and automated were the simplest administrative processes. In a second phase, the validation and approval processes were automated as much as possible. A number of “champions” were chosen internally for this who took the lead as the main user. Again a success, because the acceptance went very quickly.
