How an age-old company automates documents and saves time, but also makes life easier for its employees.
Frateur-De Pourcq started in 1887 in Boom when small locomotives replaced the horses for the transport of bricks. In the meantime, the 6th generation has started in this family business. In 2012, Frateur-DePourcq decided to prepare their company for the next 130 years. During that period they collected tons of paper, a large part of which is very important for continuity and, moreover, contains a wealth of information.
Frateur went looking for an application that could cover the complexity of their organization, but that could also be rolled out across the various departments.
In collaboration with Smartdoc, it was decided to apply a step-by-step approach. The first processes that were digitized and automated were the simplest administrative processes.
In a second phase, the validation and approval processes were automated as much as possible. A number of “champions” were chosen internally to take the lead as main user. Again a success, because the acceptance went very quickly.
Smartdoc was quickly accepted. Our workflows are a lot faster and faster than before. We see an immediate turn on investment in both time and risk.
